The Henley Traditional Boat Festival is delightfully eccentric, British and great fun. The loving care bestowed upon these boats is evident in the accompanying photographs. This was my first year at the festival and I'm finding my way around. The three day event culminated in the prize giving for different categories. My favourite was the visiting French kayak paddler in this long skinny flat bottomed 'perissoure' kayak from the 1860s.
